This policy applies to the desktop application “Mimo” (hereinafter “the Service”).

3.1 Information Entered or Created by Users

  • Meeting audio
  • Transcription results
  • Summary results
  • Meeting notes
  • Session names and other in-app data

※ The above data is not stored on our servers.

Processing is performed by one of the following methods:

  • On the user’s device (local processing)
  • By external services using API keys provided by the user

We do not collect, store, or access this data.


3.2 OAuth Credentials and API Keys

  • OAuth credentials required for integrations such as Notion and Google Drive
  • API keys entered by the user

These are managed solely within the secure storage on the user’s device (e.g., Keychain).


3.3 Device Information and Permissions

  • Microphone input
  • Screen recording (for system audio capture)
  • Minimal log information required for app operation

4. Purpose of Use

The Service operates for the following purposes:

  • Recording and transcribing audio
  • Generating summaries and extracting action items
  • Integration with external note-taking services
  • Improving the Service and addressing issues
  • Ensuring security and preventing unauthorized use

5. Data Storage and Management

  • Transcription results, summary results, audio data, and similar content are not stored on our servers.
  • Authentication credentials such as OAuth access tokens and API keys are managed solely on the user’s device.
  • Data storage and management is, in principle, under the user’s own control.

6. Use of External Services

The Service may use the following external services:

  • OpenAI API (transcription and summarization)
  • Notion API
  • Google Drive API
  • Other external API services specified by the user

The management, storage, and security of data sent to external services are governed by the terms and policies of each respective provider.


7. Disclosure to Third Parties

We will not provide personal information to third parties without the user’s consent, except as required by law.

However, information transmitted to external APIs as a result of user actions is not subject to this limitation.


8. Security and Scope of Liability

  • The Service implements reasonable security measures, but cannot guarantee complete security.
  • We are not liable for damages caused by failures, specification changes, or data breaches of external services, or by inadequate API key management by the user.
  • Users shall use external services and API keys at their own responsibility.

9. User Rights

Users may request disclosure, correction, deletion, or other actions regarding their personal information in accordance with applicable law.

10. Minors

If minors use the Service, parental consent should be obtained as necessary.


11. Revisions
